I just beat the shit out of my laptop

and it's working better than ever. I've been having a problem with it backspacing everytime I'd type something. I'd have to press the delete button for it to stop for a few seconds but, it would go straight back to backspacing.

I literally punched the shit out of it and all kinds of dust came out. Wow, this is amazing.

Haha. Sorry man. I could say that I've beaten the shit out of Acer42X if it makes you feel better.

It was a tough fight though. You should see my keypad cause I punched it from the bottom and there's almost a perfect fist mark indentation and you could almost see my fist perfectly. I'll have to take a pic and post it.

It's truly amazing though. It's faster now and the backspacing quit. All kinds of dust came bellowing out of it.

Yeah, I remember you posted a pic of it or something. So it died on you?

I bought this thing in the mid east and it's got arabic on the keypad. It just reminds me of "cheap arabic junk". Shit, where is that saying from? I think it's from a cartoon.

But yeah, it was so damn dusty over there and I've never taken an air canister to it. Maybe it was just the magic touch that I've got too. Who knows. I'm just happy now. I just hope my guitar doesn't want to crap out on me. I'd hate to beat the shit out of that.

my laptop is second hand, and old. i've had it for 5 years not sure how long the previous owner had it. i've treated it like shit.

anyway recently the fan has stopped working and it tells me to turn off the computer immediately. instead i turn it upside down, smack it a bit, try and bend the laptop a little where the fan is, place some pressure on that part and maybe another couple of hits and that fan starts going again (y)

i feel wrong bashing it, but i need it to work.

it didn't exactly die it just...got retarded. red lines all over the screen, and infinite loop errors i couldn't do anything about; i just ended up buying a new one

so I take it that Acer makes complete junk cause my coworker had one of those red Ferrari ones that's supposed to be top of the line. His just fried out on him one day while using it. I mean, that thing started smoking for no reason.

Maybe he didn't beat it enough. I think Acers require a beating of twice a week.

i think they must be some kind of value laptop company or something i dunno. i bought mine because it was very very cheap for all the power it contained. and when it worked, it worked really well, it was better than my last desktop. but then it just crapped out on me.

it was probably my fault, i was probably putting too much pressure on it. literally, mind you; i stuffed a lot of casebooks into my bag with my laptop during my first year, i probably broke the thing, it's the only explanation i can think of

And I'll be damned if it doesn't start it's backspacing shit again. Seriously, I'll type a sentence and cursor just starts going backwards and if I don't hit the delete button, my sentences will be typed backwards.

It was so good for 3 days. I'm too tired to beat it up tonight. Maybe I'll just piss on it. That should clean the remainder of the dust from it.

My laptop inexplicably died this weekend. It's an acer though so perhaps this is the reason.... It has been partially resuscitated now but I all my photos (though most are on photobucket thankfully) and about 40% of my itunes. That's going to be fun putting everything back on...
