Anyone know what time the show actually starts on Thursday at McCarren Park Pool? Ticketmaster says 5.30pm. This seems kinda early.

Anyone know for sure what time the beastie boys start their set on thursday. I don't want to get there at 5:30pm and have to leave work early if i don't have to.

I don't know if it's the same as SummerStage....But doors opened at 5:30 and they didn't start playing til about 8....It was over about 10'ish....But don't go by that...

I read somewhere that the shows start early at this venue because of local sound ordinances dictate that concerts cannot go past 11:00pm.

It's in a residential area from what I understand, that's why this show had an early start.

i listened to the show from the stairs. i could see the stage, like bad seats at a stadium. FUCKING EXCELLENT!

they started with hellp brooklyn and ended with no sleep till.

its was a different kind of crowd. the 20-30something new york hipsters. people were going crazy, i was pleasantly surprised that nearly everyone seemed to be into it.

i saw monkey and tpk. effin tpk in the flesh! good to see you man.

MMM seemed to skip quite a few times.

Adrock seemed playfully frustrated when he was amped up and MMM would drop a slow beat.

I noticed one old dude right on the rail who must've been at his first concert cuz he was getting mad and being an asshole when anyone touched him. meanwhile he's right on the rail and theres a pit right behind him with people pushing forward.
