I actually saw a PSA last night on tv against online bullying. anyone else seen this? a bunch of little girls sitting around a table saying nasty things to each other. it ends with:

"if you wouldn't say it in person, don't say it online!"

don't type it,
don't forward it
don't...something else I forgot
STOP ONLINE BULLYING!!!!

Heard about it but haven't seen it. It's a thoughtful idea -- hopefully the execution is good.

Big Blu mentioned something to the same exact effect and it's very truthful.

Instead, ya'll should post pics of you with black dudes to show that you aint no joke.

It's pretty good.

"Cyberbullying" is just the wrongest word for the campaign, though. As soon as you protest be "bullied," you're prey.

Much more effective if they'd had one guy with a nametag recurring from commercial to commercial, and the slogan was "Don't be a Dick."

CYBERTERRORISM

If kids are shooting themselves in the head because they lost their ipod or their parents won't let them watch Big Brother who knows what else will send them off the edge these days. McGruff used to warn us about heroin and now his big message is "HAI KIDZ DONT SEND TEH ABUSIVE TEXT PLZ"?!

My understanding is that girls who know each other in real life make each other miserable via spreading stories on the internet about school enemies and former friends. Girls are vicious.

the pussification of kids. i blame political correctness. George Carlin did a whole skit on this....

I saw one of those commercials the other day that warned kids not to upload pictures of themselves because you never know who will download them, then it showed different people looking at the pictures this girl uploaded. The Janitor, Some creepy old man, etc etc...... Kinda disturbing when you think about it..

Good article on how kids can't go out and roam around anymore,
How children lost the right to roam in four generations (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=462091&in_page_id=1770)
I used to just have to be home before dark. :) And that's when I was like 12.
