i reckon it's prolly the best season. much much better than the movie. Phil Collins is fucking fantastic, and all the Patrick Swayze stuff is great. do you know if there's gonna be an 8th series? i doubt there will, but i did say about the 7th series too last year

the series is of course much better than the film. but the film was handicapped by the fact that it was aimed at a much larger audience. this meant that it introduced the characters all over again, and had them go through what for fans of the series was basically a 'typical' episode.

to have the film as a definite part of the series would've meant alienating people who didn't know much about the show.

as for an 8th season...I don't know. the way they finished the 7th would seem to indicate some sort of finality.
