just got the newsletter. conflicting reports
controversy...
they dont mention the Quebecois...
but they do mention getting back to the lab...
Wheel up! News flash. Below are what we believe will be our final shows of our current
'07 tour before getting back to the lab. One "regular show" and one
"Gala Event" show. More "regular" and "Gala Event"
shows will be going on sale in the same cities next weekend. We are speaking on:
Toronto and Chicago.

Pardon my french, but fuck festivals. I hate fighting boneheads for a good spot. Not that boneheads don't show up at regular concerts, it just seems like there are alot more boneheads at festivals due to the fact people are pissed because they have been over paying for beers all day and it seems like they are trying to take it out on everyone around them.
Let's get a regular date in a regular venue, somewheres like the bar/small music venue that I work at in Lake Charles. Maybe even at the Woodlands near Houston. How about Tipitina's in New Orleans. Last but not least, how about the Boom Boom Room?

The Beasties like to roll out their tour schedule in the manner most likely to cause extreme fan frustration. :D

So i am guessing the smaller venues will just be instrumental songs

It depends what you mean by instrumental. There will be vocals and they will play their instruments at the smaller venue. MMM will probably play a limited role.
The show at the hockey arena will be the regular hip hop show, with a few instrumental songs thrown in as on the last tour.

probably a case of them jumping the gun in terms of making the announcement.. all the kinks probably haven't been finalized.
metropolis and the bell centre are run by different companies (only the bell centre uses ticketmaster/admission) so that might have something to do with it.
