I think she's quite good.
Zahn was great in Rescue Dawn.
Yes he was good. I don't think I've ever seen him in anything else.
Perhaps Johansson just lacks range. I've only seen her in Lost in Translation but she seemed really wooden in this film, especially next to the woman playing Vicky and Penelope Cruz. It just felt like it was so obvious she was saying lines, aware of everything, just bad.

Woody's dialogue can be awfully mannered.
Check out Zahn in Out of Sight. Good flick, great cast.

The Hurt Locker - good but I wouldnt give it an oscar for best film.
Requiem for a Dream - That was intense, shocking, disturbing. Great actings and great story. (y)
Kick Ass.
I actually rather liked it. I think the tone was a bit 'all over the place' but I had a really good time watching it as did my friend who expected to hate it.

”Night Watch” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0403358/)...a really good looking, little fantasy/horror in a Russian style...it would have been so much better in original dialogue as opposed to the English dubbing...why there wasn’t an option to watch it in Russian on the disc is a bit confusing...

I've watched it in Russian, I'm losing my ability to follow the language quickly because I never speak it anymore. But I like to see how the dialog is translated. Sometimes it's really funny.
Now I gotta get my hands on Daywatch.

They had a screening here at a locally owned theater. The director and star came out for it even, and I was out of town that weekend. #$*(@#&%(*@#
Honestly the best thing about it was the trailer for the new nightmare on elm street. Even though Michael Bay dipped his dirty fingers in it, I'm actually excited to see it.

i know this is a thread where we put the movie and what we thought but i would like to share this with you all.
Indiana Jones and The last crusade was on the box on sunday and my 4 year old decided she wanted to watch so i thought we would humour her and at some point she would get a bit spooked (thought it me a bit too much for her) and ask to turn it over. Didnt happen, she loved it, asked loads of questions, liked a lot of the action scenes. I was quite proud of her in a silly way.
However, during the end scene where the german lady slips the down the chasm after trying to get the grail, my daughter was very quiet. She didnt say anything about it for a while and carried on playing. Then the following conversation took place:
Daughter: Why did the woman fall down the hole?
Me: cos the man couldnt hold on to her
Daughter : Why?
Me: Cos she reached for the cup
Daughter: Why?
Me: Cos she really wanted it but couldnt reach
Daughter : And why didnt she come back?
Me : Cos it was a really big hole.
This conversation and slight variations took place at regular 5 minute intervals for the next 3 hours. SLowly, I managed to explain some of the concepts in that scene and she slowly started to understand.
I even had to do a reconstrcution of the scene when my daughter was in the bath with me being the german lady, my daughter being Indiana Jones and a tigger bath toy being the holy grail. She was having serious trouble with the physics of indy letting go.
Two days later she is still asking about it, she seems to understand the lady was being greedy and that Indy had to let go but its obviously still on her mind. I feel a bit bad for letting her watch now.
Oh and we watched Nanny McPhee, it was all right and she didnt ask any questions afterwards!

I finally watched Oscilloscope's "Burma VJ" and couldn't believe the things I seen. I mean I can believe them but usually in our news we get little snippits of what is happening in other countries. This was 85 minutes of secret recordings. I am so thankful to live in a country where we aren't held captive like this. It was really sad but I am glad I watched it. I am gonna watch "Flow" next. Then I guess I'll understand better why MCA is sooo anti water bottles.

It would've been cheaper for you to buy the 2 new volumes that has all the old 5 volumes in them.

The Wackness.
Not wack at all.
Very average though.
I remember the big "I love you" revelation scene actually utilised the line "Yo, I got mad love for you shawty, on the real". From a white man.
Cringe.

I Sell the Dead. Horror/Comedy
Pretty good. A lot of influence of Evil Dead, Creepshow etc.
Fun to watch B+

Also:
House of the Devil.
I loved it, it's slow and is made to look like it was done in the 80's, very well shot. Script was fair/good. I don't' think it very original but definitely worth a watch.
