so i saw 2 public enemy songs and it was pretty good then me and my brother left to go to the underground "paid dues" stage and saw all of murs and slug's set. and it was REALLY GOOD.

the place got packed more than expected for the paid dues stage and we got pretty good spots (as oposed to the mains stage where i was seeing p.e from a birds eye view) and since it was an L.A crowd Murs got soo much love and he sprayed us with water guns since it was damn hot. the crowd was very hyped & jumpin and so much weed smoke everybody was raping along putting their felt hands up & their L.A signs up i even saw some gang signs go up lol and all that good shit.


i don't regret seeing felt over P.E but i do wish i had seen more of them cuz those 2 songs were pretty damn hot

and i just must say mos def was the most boring act i've ever seen good music but he was so boring live. my brother said he was boring him to sleep the lady next to me was even harsher she said this guy couldn't even give his records for free" umm yea she was a prick.


murs went onstage before mos def to kill time and the crowd was feeling him more than mos def a guy in front of me even asked me who the dope mc was and i replied" its murs yo!" and yea i offcial love murs and i don't give a shit what chu think about his new deal not only is he from L.A like me but i'm mind fucked by his lyrics


and i didn't mean that murs and slug are better than the roots G, i'm just not familiar with any roots music so i wouldn't be able to appreciate them that much live.
