Help me decide which room to live in

hi. I just looked at an apartment of this girl that needs roommates and it's pretty cool. and she's pretty cool, mellow, stylish, quietish.

anyway, the first room is off the main hallway/entrance and is pretty spacious, maybe 14X14. it's sunny, has a normal closet. it's $400/month

the second room is a lot smaller (but actually about the size of my room now) and off the kitchen. it's also pretty shady. but it has a private little enclosed sun porch (not heated) and a private entrance. it's $500/month


so, I want to go for the sun porch...but the other room is really big and a hundred dollars less.

or I could live in a studio close to my boyfriend's house. one room. yip.

Private entrance and a sun porch may make up for the small room. If you're already in a room the same size, then there won't be much to adjust to...


If it was the large room and a walk-in closet, then I would've chosen that one.


I would say no to the studio unless it's a decent size. I lived in a studio after college and I hated cooking right next to my bed. Hot plates and small fridges were heinous.

yeahhhh, I'm leaning towards sun porch. it also has a big closet. mrrgh. I'm kinda skurred to live with strangers though.

that's the thing... if you live w/ strangers and you don't care for them, then the private entrance and sun porch will come in handy...

anyway if it were me i'd take the one where i don't have to live with a person but if it were you i'd take the sun porch and the private entrance

she and her boyfriend got an apartment together. :rolleyes: I think it's too soon, but whatever. I'm mostly just pissed that she's living farther north than I wanted her too. lousy jerk.

I think I'm better off living with other people though, rather than by myself in a studio I mean. I'd probably want to stab myself in the face having to live in one room after living in such a big apartment.

I'm gonna email the chick tomorrow morning. hopefully she chooses me! fingers crossed. this is a weird situation. I think she will, I rule.
