I'm the only person who likes Iron Flag better than The W, I think. At least from the people I know.

the only good thing about iron flag is that most people have forgotten about it.

Aside from Gravel Pit and Redbull with Redman, the album is pure shit. Say what you want about production values, but it's fucking BORING.

From what I remember, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Snoop, Redman, Junior Reid, and fucking Isaac Hayes all appeared along with Cappadonna on a few tracks...Jesus Christ.

O.D.B only appears on one track, but still.

W is a good LP. Y'all on crack rocks. Fuck Iron Flag, the Wu dont even talk about that album and that says enough about its worth.

Too bad one of the best song on the LP featured Issac Hayes. Its a tight album, I guess its just too consitent for some folks;thus, why its boring. I still enjoy Wu-Tang Forever more though...inconsitent yes compared to the W, but stronger songs.

I think the only songs I can really listen to on The W that dont make me think "wow this peice of dogshit must have been due to the label" are Careful, The Jump Off, and Do You Really

"do you really" still sounds like a viking orgy to me

haha at Do U Really....come on I hardly find songs like "Chamber Music", "Hollow Bones", "I Cant Go to Sleep", "One Blood" and "Jah World" as being songs pushed by the label.

Yeah, it's consistently boring. All but maybe 4 songs and that Isaac Hayes one is PURE SHIT.

Yeah, I know it's a tragedy I hate a boring and forgettable album by the same guys who put out the 36 Chambers...actually it's a global catastrophe.

I don't care if they don't acknowledge Iron Flag. At least Iron Flag fucking moved along.

adam f doesn't like hearing ghostface talking about anything that has depth. he does like to hear u-god rapping about "Burt Reynolds' gray hair," and wu tang on trackmasters beats, apparently.

yeah, Wu-Tang on TrackMasters should simply never have happened...

Another thing. I had always heard that "I Can't Go To SLeep" was simply "Walk on By" rhymed over, no more no less. And I finally heard "Walk on by" by Hayes and haha..yeah, the literally rhyme over the opening bars, no loops no nothing. Then spin it back to the start just before Issac's vocals came in..

Ghostface is notrious for rapping over the original beat of a song....sampleing the whole damn song even....exhibit A "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" by the Beatles for his song "My Guitar/Black Cream" and The Stylistics “You’re A Big Girl Now” for "Big Girl" off Fishscale and the Delfonics for "La La Means I Love You" for "Hola" off of "The Pretty Toney LP" and The Dramatics "In the Rain" for "Wise"

you can download both "My Guitar" and "Wise" off here:

i just listened to "i can't go to sleep" for the first time and it's probably the biggest pile of shit i've ever heard. ghostface fucking whines on the track his entire verse. isaac hayes actually helped ruin his own classic (walk on by (http://youtube.com/watch?v=0XIIivxCtzM)). i wish i never listened to this song.
