Toronto Gala Event?

As most of you know, it said in the newsletter email that was sent the other day that there was going to be a Gala Event at the Hummingbird Centre announced at some point, and tickets would go onsale next weekend.
I heard that this show got dropped, along with the Montreal dates. (n)
Does anybody have any info at all?
I'd really like to know what's going on.

Well, the newsletter didn't specifically mention the Hummingbird Centre and it didn't mention the Montreal shows at all, but I heard from other people/a thread on here that it was going to be at the Hummingbird Centre and that there were dates for Montreal.
Check out the "More Dates!!" thread, you'll see what I mean.

I'm pretty sure that the "next weekend" bit was implying this upcoming weekend, not the one that just passed.

I really hope we get a Gala Event too, from what I've heard, they're awesome. (y)

I really hope they add a Gala at the Hummingbird, its a wicked venue. I haven't missed a Beasties show in Torornto. I was stoked when I first heard about the Toronto show on the 21st, but the timing couldn't have been worse. The show falls on a Jewish holiday (the holiest day of the year, in fact), and I can't attend. In fact, there are a couple of peeps that I know that are bummed out because of this. We are super disappointed that the Beasties would play on Yom Kippur (Sandy Koufax didn't pitch in the World Series because of this holiday). Any chance they add another date to Toronto?

The Circle Of Friends thing is some Hummingbird Centre exclusive, you have to donate like 75$ or something.
As for the "artist" presale, I'm assuming it's the beastieboys.com presale.

I just phoned the Hummingbird Centre Ticketmaster and they said that it takes 24 hours to confirm whether you get them or not, so I won't be suprised if they get canceled, since I'm not a member...
Oh well, it was worth a try.

I went to see if I could change my delivery to Ticketfast (I figure once you have the tickets and they charged your card there is no way they can cancel your order.) You can not switch.
I ordered 3 pairs before I saw the note.
2 of them under status say "This order was cancelled."
The other order still says "Your tickets have been purchased and are in the process of being printed. " Ok, I can live with row G centre section.

Still keeping my fingers crossed...

According to the TicketMaster website I have the tickets (Left of Centre Orchestra, Row N), but the lack of a confirmation email has me worried.

I also have tickets to the Friday night show at the ACC and I'm going to try to complete the Beastie trifecta this morning by getting tickets to the Montreal show.

What a weekend that is going to be, I think I'm going to rent a tux for the gala event.

No, you shouldn't be worried.
I phoned ticketmaster the other day and my order went through, although I never received a confirmation email.
They told me that you had to request a confirmation email; as long as you have your order number (which will be in your ticketmaster account or w/e it's called), you'll be fine.

I didn't get a conformation e-mail either, but it says in my ticket master account that I have them so I assume everything is good.

I'm so excited Row H and it's on my birthday. This is going to be so killer. If only they would play "Brand new" or "Deal with it" or basically anything from "Aglio e Olio"
