Yesterday for brunch:
granola bar
raw yellow bell pepper
cup of appplesauce
sweetened coffee and tea.
yesterday dinner:
sauteed portobello mushroom on a wheat roll with roasted orange bell pepper, swiss cheese, tomato, and a yogurt/mustard sauce.
potato chips
Late night snack:
several double-stuff oreos and skim milk
handfull of trail mix.
This morning:
small bowl of frosted mini wheats with raisins and skim milk.
lunch:
cup of applesauce
granola bar
sweetened tea
two tomatoes with salt, pepper, and salsa.
I don't know what I'm going to do for dinner tonight.

oatmeal for breakfast
rice for dinner
today:
oatmeal for breakfast
burrito for lunch
probably beer for dinner. maybe another burrito
it's a very long week

wait, are we saying yesterday or today or both?
yesterday I was hung over. I ate a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel for breakfast and had a red bull. for lunch a chicken and cheese quesadilla, some almonds, half a snickers, an orange. I drank unsweetened iced tea. for dinner I had a coke and some microwaved cheese ravioli with hot sauce. and chocolate fudge frozen yogurt. blech, too many processed things. oh well.
today I just ate an egg sandwich. I might eat an apple in a minute. later on I better eat some vegetables.

yesterday: slice of chocolate cake during the day, itallian sub for dinner
today: 1.5 cheese biscuits. later i plan on haing a steak for dinner. then some ice cream cake. with my steak there will most likely be a loaded baked potato. maybe some other kind of side. who knows.

Lately I've been bringing in plain raw fruits and vegetables for lunch, and it's so simple and easy. I love it. I just bring in a bag of spinach and an apple or a pepper or a half a cucumber and an orange. When people go out to eat, you don't think of (at least I don't) just stopping at the grocery store's produce section and getting a couple things and then just eating that for a meal. Raw food fills you up much more satisfyingly than processed stuff, it's amazing. I could eat two apples and I'm good to go, whereas a whoel cup of condensed soup leaves me wanting crackers too.

i'll probably have another burger and ill find some loose junk to shovel down before bed

yesterday breakfast:
smoothie w/ almond milk, frozen raspberries & pineapple, banana, brown rice protein & omega-3 oil blend, 1 slice sprouted toast
yesterday lunch:
tj's organic salad w/ goddess dressing, savory baked tofu, heirloom tomato slices
snack: almond butter ball, various trail mix/chips/salsa/junk food in break room
dinner:
veggie hot dog :o on a whole wheat roll! omg, i have the best relish right now. oh and some baked sweet potato spears w/ olive oil and salt and pepper and garlic.
breakfast today:
multigrain cereal with almond milk, fresh peaches, strawberries & banana; chocolate almond milk with a little omega-3 oil
snack: ginseng almond butter ball (it's green!)
lunch: tempura crunch vegetable rolls (the sweet & sour sauce had anchovy extract so i had to do without :()
snack right now: mixed berry soy yogurt with multigrain cereal and freeze-dried raspberries
not sure about dinner.
nuzz, you know there's an "i just ate" thread in the cooking section.

i just have to know what you consider to be junk food
i can't even picture in my head half of the things you just listed, that's how healthy you eat. sweet potato spears? what the hell could that be

they're sweet potatoes cut into sticks, then you drizzle a little oil and spices over them and bake them. kind of like what you call...is it, french fries?
by junk food i mean trek mix with chocolate and roasted/salted nuts, and chips and salsa. oh, i had a handful of chocolate chips today and yesterday too.
i swear sometimes i even drink root beer

I ate half a meatloaf sandwich on whole wheat bread and creamy spinach for dinner. that's like...healthy...but not really. I just wanted something soft and warm because my throat and chest hurts. I think I'm getting a stupid half-ass summer cold.

1/2 a tomato and some pieces of leftover bell pepper from the mushroom sandwich.

Later last night I had a bowl of ice cream

jesus nuzz. i have to make an effort to make sure i'm getting at least 1500-1600 calories daily, but it sounds like you eat like a baby hummingbird. your entire lunch is green tea? you know there's no calories in that whatsoever, right? that's not a good thing.
oh, and:
i ended up doing a veggie dog again last night with celery and some vegan ranch on the side.
breakfast: same as yesterday, minus peaches (august is peach month, they are sooo good this time of year and i highly recommend you all go out and get a bushel of them)
lunch is yet to be seen.

I put sugar in it. I had plenty of calories last night BTW. You have to make an effort to get 1500 calories in? Well, I guess if you cut out all the animal products you're mostly eating water and fibers.

It's what I want. I don't burn many calories these days. I haven't gotten any real exercise in 3 weeks. I had surgery and it is only now not hurting to move. I had my appendix out.

i didn't "make" myself throw up, i'm just so sick of oatmeal and rice
i'm just eating extra boring lately because it's finals week and i'm too burnt out from studying and posting here to avoid studying to cook anything complicated.

Actually I started this thread because it's nice to keep track of what I eat. It helps. It's a good reminder not to pig out. I'm trying to keep the weight down a little. I was losing weight there for a while and I'm not too happy about not having gotten any good workouts lately.

i ended up having rice again for dinner. apart from the raisins in my oatmeal and whatever it is they put in steak sauce, i've had nothing but fucking grains today

Oh lord. I'm on vacation. I'm at the beach. There are a bunch of kids here. We ate lunch at the boardwalk. There's a lot of stuff to eat here in America. My diet's been crap since we got here. I'm cooking some nice lemon garlic chicken, brown rice and green beans now for dinner, but everything for the past 3 days up to now has pretty much been a crap fest. Well, not entirely; had a nice sushi and sashimi platter last night. But other than that, we're talking rubbish - funnel cake, doritos, Coke, fries - all manner of horrors. It's kind of shocking.

I don't know why I thought it would settle my stomach. The wrapper had a sun on it, and some pictures of grains and a bowl of honey and I pictured a warm, breezy, calm field of rolling amber waves of grain with some bees buzzing lazily around. It all looked so peaceful. I thought it would help.

Every day I do well until dinner time. I eat light and nutritiously. Then come dinner time, like last night, it all breaks down. I had pasta and cheese and soda, ice cream for dessert. Then later I popcorn and Milk Duds during a movie. Scandalous.
Today I had generic honey comb cereal with raisins and orange juice
for lunch I brought raw broccoli, two tomatoes, and iceberg lettuce.
