I got my Def Jam Classics (UK Reissue) of the Rock Hard 12" and the Drum Machine 12" in the mail yesterday from DustyGroove America. Today I expect to receive The Mix-Up LP in the mail from Insound.com (which had it cheaper than beastie boys store). (y)

Speaking of vinyl -

Looks like 'Electric Worm' b/w 'Suco de Tangerina' 7" is going to be released in the UK on 3rd Sept - not sure about the US - it was a promo item given away with the album over there, so...? Personally I think the tracks on the Mix Up lend themselves well to the 7" format - it's in-keeping with the whole style. Wish they'd release Biscuits and butter on 7" - it's a sick track and I can't download itunes on my Technics!

Also, finally got the Bad Brains Build a Nation LP last week - on good quality, triple-coloured vinyl!:)(red,yellow and green of course) I know some people on the boards are less into the beastie's hardcore stuff, but if you do like the Bad Brains - it's a classic. If anything it's more accessible than some Bad Brains material, Yauch has done an amazing job - I'll rant about it more in the 'other music' board once I've had the chance to listen to it more.

Sorry if that was old news - just stuff I've found out in the last week or so that was news to me.:)
