haha, you're like the 3rd person to say that.

someone also told me it's "classier" to be on facebook.

even if that can be considered true, I still lol'd.

Facebook has already turned into random people adding me from high school that I barely even knew back then. I like the interface of myspace more, plus I like not having my whole name displayed all the time, I want to be able to change it. Also I've already added like a billion comedians/films to myspace, so meh.

i have the opposite problem, i cant ever find anyone i knew in real life (n)

and my parents go online too so i would never use my real name

myspace just feels like wading through spam. it's really hard on the eyes, and just way, way too trashy. facebook or nothing for me.

Randetica

its shit that you have to pay for gifts on facebook  and also shit that you cant fuck around with the layouts

cant really find anything complainable on myspace (except that auton isnt on it)

I had high hopes for Facebook after a friend of mine went on and on about it...but i think it's a bit shit. What's the deal with having to add a person before you can even view their profile? I like to suss people out first. And like Dandyfop i don't like having my full name on display.

Myspace wins hands down everytime.

well thats the thing, it's aimed at linking people who actually have connections in real life. even though you may not have seen them for awhile, you don't need to suss out some girl you went to school with when you were 8.

myspace is too creepy and full of people and things that I want no part of.

I don't find myspace that creepy at all. I'm pretty good at weeding out the weirdos. I've only ever been freaked out once when i added some random guy - he seemed ok - until the next time i looked at his profile EVERYONE on his friends list was called Katy...like a hundred girls - all of us with the same name. Like he was collecting us or something. Got rid of that freakazoid.

I signed up on facebook as a test. I didn't use my real name tho. I was thinking of keeping it just amongst people I know IRL, but dandy and jabumbo were added straight away as I accidently clicked for everyone on my certain gmail address list. I've deleted a couple of names I had no clue who they were...
I do prefer MySpace anyday, but I still haven't deleted facebook anyway. We'll see what happens.

Facebook has also faced criticism for not allowing users to permanently terminate their accounts. The website only gives users the option of "deactivating." However, once an account has been deactivated, all the personal information of users remain on Facebook's servers in case in the future they wish to reactivate. The website provides no means for users to permanently delete their account. A student from the University of British Columbia pursued the issue with Facebook. A Facebook representative responded by asking the student to "clear his account" before the termination process could begin. This included "415 wall posts, 126 friends, and 38 groups." The student subsequently gave up on terminating his account permanently as the process of deleting every wall post, friend and group on his profile would require 1158 mouse clicks.

That's what happens when you wanna delete your Facebook.

Ah, but you've got me as a friend on Facebook. Surely that counts for something... ;)

I don't get this whole "myspace is trashy/creepy" thing. Bwah? When I first signed up forevvs ago it was a bunch of random weirdos adding me but now that never happens. I guess I see silly ass teenagers and sluts on there but it's not like I really have anything to do with them. Except for when I want to feel better about myself, then it's fun to look at those.

myspace has become rampant with spam profiles but as long as you're honest enough with yourself to know that some blonde chick with huge tits probably wouldn't friend request you out of the blue then everything's ok.

Facebook made the cover of Newsweek. Apparently middle aged ladies are flocking to it in large numbers but the facebook people aren't using that in their marketing campaign. :p

You poor kids.
