I heard these last night when Silence updated and i LOVED the Hold It Now, Hit It and Heartbeat...It's like they were meant to go together(y)(y).....Stop That Train was nice and mellow, great to smoke to....I don't know what it is, but i just couldn't get into the Method Man mix too much.....Great job nonetheless....Keep em comin, man

Thx, yo! I hear ya Cos' on that Freaky Hijiki mix... Redman's style is so syncopated, you don't get a tight seal like the beasties rappin style that stays pretty much on the One, but I think that's why I liked it. A lil' somethin chewier.

good stuff. I like stop that train very much. I think the problem with the Freaky Hijiki mix is also that the beastie boys are playing live so the tempo is not as steady as the tempo of an acappella that was recorded to a sequencer.

do you own all those funk records or do you download that stuff?

They're all mine (and LOTS more), I have a whole room filled with albums (remember those?) and cd's. I've been a music fiend since I was a kid, been collecting music for a LONG time (I'm 38), my music collection was massive long before downloading music was a possibility. That's a new thing for the kiddies:p

I guess it's sad to say that I'm a kiddie...I only own one record(and no record player) which is Beastie Boys "She's On It" single with "Slow and Low"...But that's about it....Me and my brother tried going on a Beastie Boys' Ebay buying binge....But it really didn't work out too well...(those were the cocaine days.....sadly)...We really haven't bought too much since....Except for TMU...
