Just wondering if any people from the Boards are going to either of these shows. I'm going to both. It'd be cool to meet up with some people from the site. Maybe we could do a little drinking afterwards or before? Chill out, you know, kick it mad niggerish.
Let me know.

I'm coming in from Winnipeg for both shows. Also, I have two extra floor seats for the ACC show on Friday if anyone is interested. I have them listed on eBay.. Make me an offer and let me know you saw it here on the Board! I'm not trying to get rich, I'd be happy with break-even on the tickets.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't really keep this thing up to date...works been crazy lately, which is the only reason I was able to save enough to buy these damn tickets.
But I'll be going to both shows, and I've got a buddy coming up from out of town to check it out as well. I'd be down for having some beers and drinking or smoking before the show so hit me up folks...and if your coming to the Gala even ya'll better be funky fresh dressed to impressed ready to party.
One.

Hi, selling one floor seat for the show, min bid is $39.99 Cdn which is about half of what I paid for it. I will be there for the show so local pick-up is available.

Has anyone seen Chromeo play live before? I watched a couple of vids on youtube and they look entertaining in an 80's kinda way.

I would like to know as well because I'd like to bring mine to both shows... last time I saw them in Toronto in 2004 they were not letting in cameras but it doesn't say anything on the ticket. With everyone having cell phone cameras now I don't know what the big deal is with taking a few pics at the show... as long as you're not bootlegging it on video or whatever it shouldn't be a big deal. However, I'm worried about the hassle from security if I bring one in and they stop me at the door what am I supposed to do with it??

Oh well I guess I'm just gonna have to sneak it in my pants. Security at the ACC isn't that tight. I usually find security at small venues much more strict.

Just came back from the show at the ACC. Show was amazing, even better than the gig back in the fall of 2004.
Got to hear some kick ass jams that I didn't hear last time, including Heart Attack Man, No Sleep Till Brooklyn and Pass the Mic. The new songs were very good, espcially Off the Grid and B for my Name. Still considering buying tickets for the show at the Hummingbird Centre.

DO IT! I was at the show tonight and it was off the hook. I went to both shows in Boston and preferred the gala show at the opera house... tomorrow is going to be sick.

The show was sick, they played some rarities like Flute Loop and Rhymin' and Stealin'. No Sleep till Brooklyn was also pretty cool.
However, there were a few assholes on the floor, particularly the one girl who kept slapping people and trying to knock their hats off, and the sweaty, hairy 40 year old who kept elbowing everybody. Why would you come to a Beastie Boys concert to try to start fights? But for the most part people were chill.

The show was awesome!
I was right on the rail, and I didn't get pushed around much, which was nice.
The setlist was great, it was awesome that they broke out some rarities like Rhymin' & Stealin'.
I can't wait til the Gala Event tonight at the Hummingbird! (y)

Yeah. I tried to elbow that chick to get her to go away and she bonked me about 10 times and tried to take my hat. I think she was on lots of drugs. Did anyone see the two long haired guys that looked like twins? They were crazy too. All idiots aside, the Bboys had a great show!!!

Ah, it was THAT girl the Beasties were talking about at one point! I was wondering... My favourite part of the show was Adrock pointing out the lady who was having her bachelorette party at the show. If I ever get married, I'm doing the same thing. Who needs buffed up dudes in g-strings when you can see skinny dudes in suits?
