The recording quality is amazing on Steely Dan albums, the Boston Rag is an amazing tune.

Unfortunately I saw them live and was bored to tears. It's one of those things I guess, perhaps it's a lack of stage presence or the venue, it was outdoors with 16,000 people and distractions galore.

Maybe if they played an more intimate venue rather than the paycheck venue.
