I spent the past weekend at a folk fest (http://www.rootsandblues.ca/) watching micheal franti and xavier rudd hopped up on dry apple cidar

and now im in the heart of hippyville, BC's Kootenay (http://www.kootenaylake.bc.ca/Images/LakeReflec.jpg) region (aka fucktopgirl's haunting grounds) and Im sipping on some organic coffee and waiting for the rain to stop so I can go set up my tent and then spend the evening sitting in a local hot spring resort

being a part time granola muncher aint so bad yo (specially when you have it for breakfast mixed with fresh blackberries and yogurts!)

seems like a pretty chill and mellow time, and granola's pretty good. enjoy yoself.

errrrrrr, wait a sec, how does a hippy write on the internets when they're about to put up a tent......and do hippies even use the net?

haha, xavier rudd. gross.

My wife likes Xavier Rudd, personally I think he needs to get a root. John Butler has it all over him.

Sounds fun, though. Franti's always good value.

I remember when a friend bought Madonna's Like a Prayer LP when it first came out. the album sleeve or LP or whatever actually reeked of patchouli. I mean, patchouli reeks anyway, so imagine something waaaaaaaaaayyy overscented with patchouli. He cracked open the shrink wrap and I was like, "Dang -- ! Two great reasons to leave!" :D
