Any suggestions on a hotel that is close to the Riv or the Charter place?
Walking distance or close to public transportation?

The closest hotels to Charter One are ones on South Michigan Ave- like the Hiton. I think its between 1500 & 2000 South so anything down in that area. Its a little bit of a hike because its out on an "Island" (not really but it juts out) but would be a fairly inexpensive cab ride or just a longer walk.

Husband went to see Wu Tang at Charter One and said it's a pretty good venue. Sound was good (although the engineer wasn't the greatest), and even at the back of the GA area you can see the stage. Apparently it slopes down so the back of the standing area is at a higher elevation & at eye level to the stage.
