I feel horrible.

Ok here is my situation. I bought six tickets for the beastie boys show in berkeley. Me my aunt and uncle and two of their friends are going. Im giving them 4 of the tickets. I had an extra one and could find no one else to go. So I posted the last one on ebay. Someone bought the ticket and I sent it ups. Well I get a hold on my paypal account saying the ticket never go there. So I call ups and find out it got lost before it even left the freakin city. So I call ups and have them start an investigation and Im cursing them out because its less then a week and there tellin me they have 8 days to investigate. So they call me up and basicly say yea your out of luck. So now Ive got a situation where I want this person to go to the show but I dont have any extra tickets. So I call ticket master and I explained them the situation. And they basicly told me that the only other option is to have them at the box office and make my tickets invalid. Which I explained in the dispute and I originaly sent the person an e-mail with my number but I dont know if she forgot or what. So i put it in the dispute and explained to her that the only way was to meet me there or I would remburse her when ups rembursed me. I would have just bought her another ticket but im funding my own wedding on aug 31 and its costing me about 8 grand. So I am straped. I cant expect this person to trust me because they dont know me but I feel SOOO bad I want them to be able to see the show. Who wants a freakin refund. Anyway I feel just horrible. Hopefully the fellow beastie will we willing to meet me at the show and in that case ill miss my place in line by showing up at the box office. But I still feel like crap.

My tix where lost in the mail, too, and I was really stressed about losing my place in line since it was general admission (Central Park). It turned out to be fine in the end and I still scored front row. If this is an option, I suggest you get the rest of your group to line up early for the door, you grab your tix at will call w/ your buyer and then meet up w/ your group in line and then still have your place in line. I think the buyer should understand. Not that big of a deal for her, is it? Don't know if this helps at all :confused:. BTW - I think it's awesome that you care so much! I just can't believe ups can just loose things like that :( I mean is it that hard to make a database of tracking numbers orginized by shipping type and to have a flag show up for packages that are not in the delivered status. Instead of waiting for someone to find out by other means. I mean your a billion dollar company step it up a noch. Well there is good news. I have an alt e-mail and it just so happends thats where my ebay is reg. So she has e-mailed me but I thought it was reg to my primary e-mail. She gave me her phone number so I called and left a message. Hopefully we can work somthing out. Im just wondering how long before the show the box office opens.

Not a beastie related thing...missed the whole there.com event then today..entirely my fault but still horrible I lost $300.00 which may not be much to some ppl but I just felt like ugh...(n):( I may or may not have lost it at the YMCA which made me feel worse. To think the place I go to where the there's a mission statement is to be a good christian.... I sound naive I know ....i'm so bummed.
