View Full Version : do you wear the same thing every day?

I always try to vary things and not wear the same outfit more than once a week. but lately I kind of just wish I had set outfits that I just wore all the time without having to think about it so much. not jumpsuit or anything, just outfits I guess.
I guess it's been since I've been hanging out with dude so much. he literally wears the same thing every day. tight jeans and fitted thrift store t-shirts, with a thin fitted dress shirt over it. all different colors mind you, and sometimes without the top shirt but basically the same thing.
I need something easy like that (but not the same thing, although I did dress that way all through the 90's, just replace "tight" and "fitted" with "baggy").
but maybe only guys have that luxury. unless I just wear dresses all the time.
OMG TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKE TO WEAR

what kind of shorts? cargo shorts? jean shorts? athletic shorts? short shorts? what kind of t-shirts?

uhhhh
cargo shorts if im just fucking around or if im getting some exercise it's usually baggy gym shorts. and i have a large collection of adidas/puma tees/hoodies/jackets. if i need to "dress up" i'll basically wear the same shit except with some stupid polo just to shut everyone up and i'll do my hair if i haven't felt the need to buzz it all off.

okay thanks for answering so thoroughly
joel, polo shirts we're talking about I'm guessing?
do you guys ever wish you had other choices in clothing? so you could individualize yourselves? girls have tons of things. but pretty much any guy that tries to accessorize usually comes off looking gay or stupid seems like. in my opinion.
I suppose you could wear vests.

i see individualizing yourself through your clothing/looks is pretty retarded. so no i don't

i hate shopping for clothes. it makes me nervous. i have this habbit of finding something in the store and really liking it. then when i actually get to wearing it i feel like a fool because something about it has changed. damn store lighting.

i go through the same thing. i'm all excited about something in the store because i think it looks great, but then i start wearing it and i hate it. i dunno if it's just me being self conscious or if i actually have bad taste in clothes, i dunno
also mannequins make me nervous

and i also hate how jeans are getting tighter and tighter. i use to be able to just go into a store and buy my size and that was that. now i bring a pair of jeans home and go to wear them later on and their all hugging my ass and choking my massive thighs. i thought maybe i was gaining weight but all my older jeans fit the way they always did which is perfect.

you should go the levi's store if you have one by you, they have all different kinds of fits and some that are classics that have always and probably will always be around and then you can just look for that same pair (if you find a good one) when they need replacing in the future.

well now that you mentioned that it's whenever i stray away from levis is when i get pissed. 90% of my jeans have always been levis.
some days i think about trying skinny jeans, but i've yet to make the leap

they suck bob. i have a couple of accidental pairs that i have tried to wear. but i just spend all day tugging at my crotch. and you have to wear tight jeans exactly at waist level which im not use to at all.

and tight jeans make your underwear get all bunched up with every fucking step you take.

I use the same pants the whole week.

i'll wear the same pair of pants to work for like three or four days

i've been noticing that with the jeans i have now actually (some levis regular fit thing). after i put my pants on, i kind of have to reach my hand into my pants and make sure my boxers are fully unbunched, otherwise it's wedgieville

tight jeans just look even more ridiculous on tall people too
i have a hard time finding pants that fit. i have really long legs, i think i'm a 36 inseam (that's what inseam means, right? length? i don't know). i don't see a ton of those in stores, they're even hard to find online.
the thing about skinny jeans is that i kind of like the way they look, but i kind of hate everyone who wears them. for example look at this guy

i wanna hit him. look at that face. it needs to be hit

to work i wear almost the same thing
pants (i have 2 pairs of work pants but mostly just wear one, one pair is charcoal and the other is greenish grey)
v-neck sleeveless top (i have the same top in several colours, as well as having 2 in black and 2 in white)
OR
collared shirt (mostly all from the same store, different colours of the one style)
with a v-neck jumper over the top (have a couple of styles, again in different colours)
and if i went with the v-neck over the collar, i wear a scarf (4 scarves, 2 different styles, 3 diff colours)
home is always jeans/tracksuits pants, singlet (the one i sleep in so i dont have to get changed again), some kind of long sleeved top and a hoodie.
regular day wear is jeans + sneakers + top/tshirt
i only drag skirts out in summer.
i am not a tights and skirt girl
pants all the way

i always wear jeans, a t shirt, and sneakers. except sometmes i wear flip flops when im too lazy for shoes.
i only have 2 pair of jeans and um... i like like 5? or maybe 6 shirts to wear... one of them is a tank top and the rest tshirts... not counting my work shirts which are just tshirts that are too big with the names of my places of work on them.
so yeah, i wear the same shit pretty much every day. i also wear things several times before i wash, cause i mean, i cant wash clothes that frequently.
i keep meaning to go shopping, but i havnt had the time since ive had money enough for clothes (the only reason i have money is cause i work all the time)
anyways, i can never find any clothes that i like so shopping usually isnt that fruitful.
oh yeah, and i have a pair of khakis, cause i have to wear khakis at one of my jobs. but those are only for work cause they look stupid and smell like restaurant.
I own about 4 pairs of jeans, 10 tee's, a few hoody's and 2 shirts (1 of which, I have lost). I only go through a couple of t shirts a week.
I sometimes wonder if others notice I rock the same shit a lot, in a bad way, but then I realise I've never thought that about anyone else so fuck them if they think it about me (y)
