nothing like the good ol cartridges and controllers. You can't emulate that! Goodwill is also an amazing place to find old videogames. I picked up my genesis there for 5 bucks! SO much cheaper than used game stores. I almost bought a 64 the other day. I love collecting old systems!

the sad part is is there are people who have this attitude and they're dead fucking serious.

While $91 seems high, its even worse trying to argue this with a neo-geo fan that drops $200-$400 per cartridge on games.

I can see dropping some change for some games to play them the classic way but how anyone could have been or is now crazy enough to buy those Neo games is beyond me.

And all the next gen. crap is so overpriced. Ex. PS3 is a piece of crap and is 600.00(last I saw)

i remember paying $75 for super mario RPG for the SNES back when it came out. classic game cartridges averaged around $50-60. I don't remember how much the consoles cost, but games have generally gotten a little cheaper. though i think some 360 titles (and maybe some PS3 ones too, but honestly who pays attention to that thing) are getting back up to the $60 range

yeah theres nothing more classic than fighting for 15 minutes with a fucking nintendo to make the games work and getting the flashing gray screen.

Granted, SNES never had that issue but I still cant see the justification in dropping close to $100 on games that you can get for free.

I haven't had an original Nintendo since I was really young but I can't imagine most of the games working anymore.

Half the games I owned in it's heyday had to go through a ritualistic blowing before they would start.

I'm afraid that's a matter of a opinion. Good games should determine your favorite system instead of blind loyalty...
