yeah, that's my favorite too....the little bugger held his ground for quite some time

Doing some hunting I bet, the crickets look quite scrumptious around here

I normally don't like frogs but that first picture looks cute...we have a pond and there's one living in it.

I was visiting Texas and saw a lizard I was so creeped out, I saw one before as I get older and I'm not even that old I'm turning into a wimp lol.

Do you know what species they are? Frogs are my fave animal, so I'm curious. I spend a lot of time looking for them around my place. The best I've found so far are Mixophyes fasciolatus (great barred frog) and Litoria lesueuri (Lesueur's frog) Frogs rule!!!

I wish my herpetological knowledge of toads and frogs wasn't just limited to "whoa cool, look at that!", so unfortunately I do not.

The only thing I've noticed is there are a bunch of different types, sizes, colors, and even demeanor

I remember coming home from work one morning (it was pitch black) and I opened my door and as I walked in I felt my foot hit something. I figured it was a stick or something so I go in, flick on the light hang my coat up, kick off my shoes and turn around to throw out the stick. It was a frog. I kicked a frog into my house. That was fun, running around at 4 am trying to catch the thing.

the first one keeps me awake. he's so loud, and chills under the bedroom window on my side of the bed.
