I just watched the first episode of the Americanised series. it's really good. pity they canceled it after just three shows.

Didn't really watch the recent UK series as it was on ITV, which is the televisual equivalent of wearing a baseball cap and one piece tracksuit and standing outside train stations shouting "Oi, luv! You and me!" with a bottle of WKD in your hand.

you're thinking of the British series which aired in 2003. the American version was just on in June apparently. I dunno really, I'm just getting this from wikipedia, like everything else I think.

anyway, I just watched the 2nd and 3rd episodes. I like it. it's clever. too clever for its CBS Monday 8pm slot it would seem.
