berkeley and San Francisco was alot of fun...
saturday the Beastie Boys rocked the Greek Theater in Berkeley and gave another outstanding performance. now, I'm not going to say they mailed it in, but lets just say I heard a couple of criticisms from some audience members who complained about sound levels and audibility of lyrics...
its probably good that they get a little break, the setlists were getting a bit predictable....
but I always enjoy a good road trip with a friend and hearing them react to the songs they hear...
I am still digging Open Letter, Skills To Pay the Bills, and Super Disco Breakin Live...
me and my friend were accused of being CIA with our dark suits and sunglasses. a few people hesitated lighting up in front of us...
but Berkeley is laid back and as cool of a college town as the best I have seen...
In san fran, were the sea lions at Pier 39, Chinatown, Haight/Ashbury and the trolley cars.... great fun for a two day roadtrip
