Okay so I've been gone for a while due to crappy stolen internets not being reliable, but this is my "I'm not dead" thread. I made it to Edmonton on August 16, we went camping in the Canadian Rockies for a few days before that. Pictures to come soon, but holy shit, Banff is the most beautiful place on earth and everyone needs to go visit.

Cowtown was pretty awesome. I was expecting an ass-backwards redneck town from the way I hear the Edmontonians talk about it. I wouldn't mind living in Calgary though.

And no Nickleback tattoo yet. I still need to get my Celine Dion one first.

Calgary's much prettier and considerably warmer as well,better shows and such.....Calgary is no longer "redneck" it's "richneck" which is considerably worse....you should try and catch some of the Fringe Fest up there it's over on the 2nd....Edmonton will then become a cultural void till the spring thaw....oh and some of that Edmonton vs Calgary rivalry should be seen this long weekend with the Labor day classic.....Edmonton does have White Ave and the Royal Alberta Museum is a nice haunt on those long dark,frigid day's coming our way......;)

I went to part of Fringe Fest, saw a comedy play about Damon and Affleck played by two chicks. It was pretty good.

Oh yeah, Crystal, guess what? You don't even need to find a man here. You can marry people of the same sex and still get awesome health benefits, so now you have much more selection when it comes to sneaking over the border.

But honestly, my roommate is hot and said he'd marry me in 2 years if I want to stay, said that he'd definitely extend his Canadian citizenship to someone in need, so you should come up and make friends with him. :)

I'd be into that too. When you're Canadian you're part of the commonwealth so access to the U.K. and Australia is much easier than for a U.S. citizen.
