Call their 1-800 number. I use lexisnexis all the time, but I don't have an account with them anymore so I can't do a walkthrough with you or anything. I'd try nexis.com rather than lexis.com though, because lexis is usually used for law-related stuff and nexis is for news.

Anyways, whenever I had question, I just called up their sales reps. They're awesome and love answering your questions, so go do that.

you're likely going to have to go to publications, then search it, in order to start picking articles by year.

WestLaw sucks ballls. Haven't used it since my first week of law school.

i figure the way it works is that you can use either westlaw or lexis, and most students pick one to start with and just stick with it (why bother learning both? you got enough to worry about learning in law school). the better you get at using one, the worse you are at using the other. i tried to use lexis the other day it took me like 2 minutes to figure out how to bring up a statute that i knew the citation for. fuck that thing, i could've looked it up in paper faster than that
