Damn horses.

In Australia the whole racing industry has ground to a halt because of a horse flu outbreak. All horses have been quarantined for 30 days or more. So there has been no racing. Not that I really gave a shit, until the shares that I own which is a company called Tattersalls, which owns TAB, which is the main betting agency in Australia, took a massive dive. Since there is no racing there is no betting either. Tattersalls are projected to lose 2 million a week.

I lost $1000 just yesterday, and this morning in the time it took me to get up and have a shower I lost another $350.

Why I'm posting my confidential financial info on here I have no idea. But I'm pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only one horse has died, and it was really really old. The equine flu is really quite mild, the horses get a bit of a temperature, runny nose and a cough, but thats it. Doesn't anyone care that I'm not quite as stinking rich as I was before???????????? I mean the nerve!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah. I'm not gonna be one of those idiots that panic and sell and drive the price down further. Hopefully they will bounce back as Tattersalls have just posted their preliminary report and profit is up about 124%. Morons should not be allowed to own shares. They are the ones doing all this damage today!
