I posted a remixed track off The Mix Up on my myspace page,

I laid vocals over Off The Grid. I heard the Beasties were gonna get a slew of rappers to rhyme over The Mix Up, but I wanted to record vocals over the whole album and call it The Fix Up.

I just happened to be in the General Discussion forum when you posted this so here is my feedback...

On the first listen I wasn't really sure where you were headed, but I replayed about 4x and listened to the lyrics. I was unnerved initially by the anti-white lyrics, until I considered the possibility that you were white and you were disappointed by the fact that there haven't been many innovative white bands doing hip-hop recently (anyone reading this please don't respond with the extensive list of white rappers who are putting out quality shit, I know they exist and am only trying to figure out where Chivalry is coming from).

I like the first two minutes, but I was waiting for a third and fourth verse. If you have to chop up the instrumental to make a better remix then do it. I REALLY like what you did with it, but I spent the last 2:30 listening to a Beastie Boys album track. Even if you don't write more lyrics for the remix, you might as well find a better ending point for the mix.
