I did this remix of "So Whatcha Want" a few years ago, but could never find a proper place for it online. YouTube is as good a spot as any...and it forced me to make a music video. The a cappella comes from the DVD (hence the use of an alternate swear word), and the music is Carpenter's classic Assault on Precinct 13. The video is mostly from other YouTube clips, from the high school kids jumping around in the woods to the animal action in the end.

Honestly, I could have done without the video...the way you chilled out the song just didn't seem to fit with kids jumping around in the woods, and fighting kung fu style...

Dont get me wrong, I cant get enough Kung Fu...

But seriously, I enjoyed the song much more when I wasn't watching the video...

Good point about the dichotomy between the remix and the footage. I actually kind of like that these guys are going apeshit to something so laid back.

What makes me really happy is that you liked the track, though. Not that I had all that much to do with it; it's just an idea and some cutting. I didn't even add drums to it, out of respect for Carpenter's original tune.
