No gig in Holland... closest was Rock Werchter but apart from being pretty far out of the way it was also sold out very quickly. The line up was unreal.

Ok I am being a lazy ass and have not yet posted my pics here from Brixton. I have however put them up on my myspace page (link at bottom of page)and am currently putting up some video to.

The pictures...were taken by me (apart from the last 4 which were taken on a proper camera with zoom by Timmie -board member- so they are pretty good quality but copyright remains with him!) on a mobile phone so they are ok to view.

The video was shot also on my mobile phone and it must be said that the camera work is lousy, and the clips are very short. If any of you have been at the very front of a gig like this in the standing area you will probably understand why...but I had the dual role of acting as body guard to my wife who was stood right in front of me, against the rails (her choice!), for her first Beastie Boys gig (her choice!) and suffers from brittle bones (not her choice!), hence filming was difficult.

For those that always stay in the seated area, try this...

Drink 5 pints of strong lager (say, Stella Artois?) quicky and only allow yourself 1 toilet break.
Find the biggest and most powerful music system, turn it up to 11 and stand right in front of it.
Now ask a friend to wrap you up tightly in cling film so you a) cannot move and are b) incredibly hot.
Now ask this friend plus as many others as you can gather round to punch and kick you repeatedly, extra kudos if you can encourage one of them to glide through the air at head height, kicking you in said area.
Now try to protect what is most dear to you - Wife, Beastie Vinyl collection, Playstation 3 etc whilst holding a phone with an "off-contract" value of around £500.
Keep this up for 2 to 3 hours.
