How awesome was that? VERY!
Loved every second, especially the instrumental versions of the 'hip-hop' stuff.
Mike D needs to watch out for the symbol. Almost had his eye out!
A couple of beers thrown on stage, which I can never understand, and also a t-shirt.......twice!
Great stuff, can't wait for a return!

Yeah, same here. When the big dude came over, I of course did as he said!
Gonna take a while to get the pics sorted. I'm on the disposable cameras, due to my digital one being broken. Most probably post them all on Facebook. Of course, i'll give a 'heads up' when they're good and ready.

it was a brilliant show and somehow it was really funny all the way through. i liked how every time mike d came out from behind his kit it spelled trouble in the crowd. i was standing two people behind bgrrl in purple... this time the moshing didn't leave me with a bruised jawbone :|
i enjoyed it a lot more than brixton for some reason. the sound at brixton is and has always been total shite. poor bands :(
did anyone else see money mark's note saying he was high on cough syrup? that was funny.
i also liked the birthday interlude.
am trying to sort my photos out. i'll add them to the thread in sure shots.
Loved it!
The whole gala event vibe is so nice and the gala event song was FIRE.

AMAZING!!!!!!!
I went to Brixton on Wednesday and wasn't looking forward to the Gala Event gig as much, I thought the meathead one would be more my bag but I have now changed my mind.
heard some songs I never thought I would get the chance to hear live, Jimmy James and Son of Neckbone were class. I'd heard So Watcha Want live was also quality and wasn't disappointed.
It was a longer set too at 2 hours (always a winner) but the main difference for me from Brixton was that the guys just seemed to be really enjoying being on stage and doing what they were doing - at Brixton I thought Yauch looked like a rabbit in car headlights at times but then again he does have that look a lot. Also didn't seem as much band interaction and banter with the crowd at Brixton.
Damn thats it for my concerts at the moment.
Now whens that next record (and tour) out......?
Oh and funniest moment of the night was spotting the same guy having a pre-gig beer who had been dancing like a complete stoner to the warm up band at brixton when he was bumping in to everyone about 5 back from the front row. Only this time he was sporting a huge bandage on his cheek and a black eye so i guess he bumped in to the wrong person one too many times!

Hey paul jones - remember how at the pub beforehand I said something about how I must have lost weight since the last time I'd worn that skirt, because it was feeling a bit loose? Well - by the end of the show I'd worked my way almost to the front, and when sabotage started and everyone pressed against me started jumping up and down, guess what happened...

Lol! Nice to have met you last night Ms. Peachy - I'm sorry I missed your little accident.;)
That gig was crazy! - Talk about all lifestyles!
At the start of the show I somehow managed to upset a young Lady with what appeared to be some sort of European accent (?) - I think I was accidentally dancing in her zone or some shit - and she grabbed me by the lunch box! When I managed to retrieve my goods she yelled something like "You're a very rude man!" at me!? How do you respond to shit like that? Bizarre? I usually have to make a lot more effort to get that kind of treatment.
Still - no damage done - I just hope I hadn't offended her - I'm honestly not sure what I did?
The Gala event was more relaxed than Brixton where I was standing - it was just as well as I needed to recover from the injuries I'd built up over the Tuesday and Wednesday nights. (I could barely walk or do anything dexterous with my hands yesterday - I was battered!)

haha me too. well, not the same woman. but some bloke got quite upset with me and said i was "not allowed to stand there" as i was blocking his girlfriend's view. i said "haven't you ever been to a gig before? you can't reserve spaces". stoopid. then i moved further down. this was well before the boys had come on, when there was a lot of space between people. in the end i was thrust straight up to the front by those testosterone-crazy moshers. suits me!
oh, nice photos.:)

I'll make a report later, right now I'm too tired to do anything that demands brain activity...
