Attn Mike D: fan of yo-yos? Chicago opening act possibility

I met Steve Brown a few weeks ago as he would come out when me and some friends were dj'ing for indie rock/punk rock nights in Virginia Beach. During a conversation about Token Entry, he told me he got a call from Timmy Chunks about opening for Beastie Boys in Chicago (no other cities mentioned), said he was told by Timmy your a big fan of yo-yos. I finally got to check out his peformance opening for mentalist Nick Tweedy...the yo-yo thing was amazing and comedic. He just finished his summer performing for the Virginia Beach oceanfront crowd and last I talked to him he doubted opening would happen. I think Beastie Boys should go for it and make it happen in Chicago, it's a great show. I'll be at both shows in Chicago shows so I'll find out then, if it went through. thanks. Dave

when he told about the phone call and how he doesn't know how well it would go over with the crowd, i told him "well they did have a dog show open for them in 2004" much to his surprise.
