Actually I just didn't want to name this thread, "Donnie Darko thread #33 and a third". I'm in the process of watching it for the second time only.
Man, it's scary of his lifestyle of sleeping and waking up further from home each time. I do that once and a while. It's been under control when I'm sober lately. Only managed to wake up in the hallway upstairs.
I've woken up in corn fields before that were like a half mile away from my summer house.
I also once woke up in an old WWII hospital that's been abandoned since the 50's.
I always ask myself when I wake up, "What the hell am I looking for in my sleep that I have to walk to it?"
And yes folks, I do this stuff while sober too, have been since a toddler.

when i was 6 years old, i fell asleep in my bed and woke up to find that i was standing between the headboard of my bed and the wall. i was in first grade.. WAY too small to push my huge, heavy bed a foot away from the wall.. but i did it in my sleep and stood back there until i woke up.

I always listen to my headphones while I'm sleeping.
The c.d. player would be plugged into the wall and I lay on my bed trying to catch the zs.
Somtimes I'll wake up in the other room on the floor, walk into my bedroom to find my c.d. player on the floor, the cord fully stretched out towards the door and my headphones still on my ears but not connected to my c.d. player.

Once I got drunk to the point of passing out and vomiting whilst on my back. Luckily, there were people around to keep me from dying. They got me up and made me stay awake long enough to stop throwing up and got me cleaned off and then put me back into bed (my friends bed)... and I guess its important to say this was all in a dorm room.
Flash foward to 6 in the morning. I wake up on some chairs in front of the convienience store of that particular building. Some lady that works there comes over and asks me if I'm alright. I mumble something that gets her to go away. My pants and socks are floor across the hall next to the door to outside. They're all muddy. I carry my clothes with me back to my friends room and get back into bed without waking anyone up. My friend wakes me up to go to my chem test that morning. I was like "mumble mumble dude i woke up in front of the c-store and i didnt have pants on" and he was like "no you dreamed it" and then he saw that i had no pants and that my pants were all muddy. My shirt had to be thrown away on account of vomit so I was wearing one of his shirts. So then he had to give me a pair of pants to go take my test.
I showed up to my Chem test in men's clothes with dried vomit in my hair and ears. I was still drunk. I made something like a 20 on that test. I sat there with it a long time before I went to turn it in cause I wasnt confident in my abilities to walk down the steps of the lecture hall.
And that's how I learned my lesson about bing drinking. And failed Chemistry.
