View Full Version : I bought a 6-foot tall mummy
for Halloween - he's really cool looking and I have him hanging in my kitchen. I give myself a heartattack about 10 times per day when I walk in and think it's someone standing there. I could move him, but it's fun having him in there.
The dogs start barking and growling randomly throughout the day now too and I realize it's the mummy they're looking at.
Yep.

I went to this wax museum in florida (Potters in St. Augustine, where they filmed the origional house of wax) and they have this little section dedicated to horror, and they have a real true to life rendition of Boris Karloff in the mummy gear. It's pretty effin cool too. They had Freddy Krugar, and Alien, and all this other shit - some of the pictures I took are creepy as hell because they look so real.

I jumped out of my skin the other week in Boots when I walked into a life size cardboard cut out of a nurse, advertising aspirin. It was quite embarassing.

I got it when I worked in a record shop,it was a promo thing
I threw it away some years later

a few years back cort and I downloaded and printed out a life-size picture of milo ventimiglia (from when he was on gilmore girls) that you had to cut out of individual sheets of paper and tape together. we then put it in our front living room window.
it never ceased to be startling. it was funny though, I bet our neighbors across the street thought we were dumbasses.
