i'm nervous. there will be a lot of people there. like possibly 30. and i wont know them. but there will be video games and booze so i should be ok. hopefully. time to get ready to embarrass myself!

i never really have been to a party before. but this is like old people and not like a gay frat party. and by old people i mean upper 20s.

it turned out to be good times. most people dint dshow up cause theres a hurricane and its not exaclty safe to drive. well the rain is over, but you knwo, during the time people were supposed to be driving over. so no one showed up except a few people, most of which i knew. we played wii and watched the office and drank. mostly the wwii was lots of fun. played boogie. a dog bit me in the fac.e is the only downside.

i need to come up with interesting stories for wont tomoorwo as to why i have a bloody fat lip. you know, more interesting than a dog bit me in the face.

it wasn't a party proper. more a "gathering" there were, including me.....8 people there. so it wasn't so bad. originally the estimate was at around 30, but the weather got too insane for most people to be willing to drive in it.

haha, yeah. we'll we aren't right on the coast, but even this far inland we can get some pretty epic rain from hurricanes. good ol' north carolina. it's just not summer without a few hurricanes!

really, we needed the rain, we've been in a drought. no massive damage was done, and as far as i know, no tornadoes were spawned, so all in all it was a good thing. thanks, hurricane!

i used to live about 100 miles closer to the beach and they were a bigger deal, and you'd check up on all the tropical storms/hurricanes all the time and lots of people kept tracking maps and i always knew the names of all the storms that were out in the ocean.

now between not really having to deal with them and not having a television, it's more like "jeepers, it sure is blustery outside! oh, what's that, a hurricane? that explains it!"

My area in Carolina has been the same way.

P.S. It just ain't a party without a hurricane going on (y)
