because my neighbours who are very vocal and expressive (with plate smashing, door slamming etc) when they argue, seemed to have taken it up a few notches last night. I was actually quite scared so I thought I would call them and get them around to check they were both alive and it hadn't turned violent (I think she hit him last night from what I could make out)

It took the police over an hour to arrive. On a Monday night in a small town in Surrey which is not known to crime central by any stretch of the imagination. I thought that was quite bad.

Thats pretty shitty.

When my house had a home invasion and i had a gun put to my head it took the police 45 fucking minutes to arrive. I gave them a bollocking when they finally arrived. And they didn't even seem to give a shit that there were people in the neighbourhood armed. all they cared about was the little mully plant that i had growing in my bedroom.

These days more than ever I wholeheartly endorse fuck. the. police.

I called the Police last night too. Me and Sting had a long conversation about the merits of his comeback song with Craig David.

Ugh. Neighbors who share their strife with the world, loudly, are really hard to live around. You have my sympathy.

my neighbors back home are pretty loud and horrible as well.

i dont think they break plates on one another, but the mother and the one daughter used to go at it all the time. i think they both sort of chilled out once the girl had a baby (she was like 16 at the time). so instead of fighting with her mom now, she just sits out on the porch smoking and talking on her cell phone while the little kid plops around on the porch.

the last time i was in need of the police, it took em a solid 45-60 minutes to respond as well. which i guess is more realistic when most of the time the cops on duty here are dispatched to catch drug dealers and homeless people stealing purses

Jesus, what a nerd. Chuck D is probably turning in his small time radio show studio.
