Soundtrack to shitty times

I have my itunes on "most played" and now it's into like #327 or something, stuff I used to listen to alot last year.

It's pretty freaky how the songs will play like a soundtrack, the shit lines up just so eerily, and all these memories start coming together.

The most random mix of shit too, mstrkrft, craig mack, grizzly bear, the ramones, james taylor (?), hot chip. In retrospect, the bad/difficult times of my life were actually a wierd mix of alot of shit, not just bad/negative/sad stuff (crazy ups and downs).

whenever i'm feeling down on myself, i listen to a lot of Gossip (GOXXIP) and it gets me right back up on top. there are a few cds that remind me so much of being a teenager that i really want to make a "high school" mix...if i hear any of Jimmy Eat World - Clarity, or Bleed American, i'm right back in Rob's car with Luci and we're on our way to the beach and my feet are hanging out the window and my hair's past my shoulders and my shorts are cutoff dickies. sigh.
