Hard to determine best of those shows though as they all had their strong points.

Lollapalooza 1994 I had second row and that was off the damn hook.
Tibetan freedom Concert at Alpine valley was a day unlike any other.
The theater in round shows were the shit too.
2004 was pretty dope as well.
Sorry for the round about answer, but ANY time I get to see them is the highlight of music season.
I CANNOT wait for the Chicago shows.
Seriously.
I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Unfortunately, I've only seen them once (but can't wait to do it again.) We saw them in October 2004 in Tampa. It was the best night ever! Loved the show and they rocked the house. Was lucky enough to get in the front row and in the middle of their set Yauch got down off the stage right in front of us and shook my husbands hand and then mine - then he went down the line. He's my fav. Then during Shake Your Rump Mike D points right at me as he's singing "Is your name Michael Diamond...no mines Clarence" (in return to me singing it and pointing to him.) Everyone around me was like "did you see that?" I'll never forget that night!

The Hiro Ballroom show was the best for me... 400 people, NYC, tiny club, right up against the stage...bboys in your face...getting to meet them afterwards...it was PERFECT, awesome setlist, Slow and Low...amazing crowd energy.

And seeing the Beasties at the Crocodile Cafe with 300 people, first ever gala show, first time seeing the hardcore stuff and new Mix Up songs was totally awesome aswell.

And that's where the boys came out after the show with their bags over their shoulders all post game style. I'z like omg HI YAUCH! think i said something dorky like I came all the way from LA to see them or something...

it was at the hollywood palladium.....i dont remember the exact setlist but as i go thru each album i am remembering what they played.... i know they did eggman, shake your rump, slow and low, hold it now hit it, the early performance of so whatcha want, they did gratitude without vocals, high plains drifter, looking down the barrel of a gun, rhymin and stealin, the new style, egg raid on mojo, white shadow, and i remember them doin time for livin..there might have been a few others.....was a classic show cuz thats when the peppers debuted give it away and it sounded much better than the album version....flea had like a 2 minute bass solo and the Peps did fight like a brave for the first time in 4 years and the last time..too bad nobody recorded either set

I've never been to one of their shows. Concerts are so fucking expensive anymore -- damn. I'll pay that kind of price to support
classical performers, but not multi-millionaires.

Beasties are actually cheaper than most other bands of their stature, and within a one-year period from October of 2006 thru November of 2007, there were many opportunities to see them in small venues where you had the ability to get right up front if you even half wanted to. That's why I saw them 7 times during that year. And thanks to friends, I never had to pay a broker for a single ticket. And I always meet interesting people. Sometimes they're the same people; sometimes not.

I'm passing up this Springsteen tour (and quite a few arena tours this year) because of ticket prices. So $40-50 seems like a deal.

Tonight is my 6th show. Hiro was by far my favorite. It was a life altering experience really. I remember I floated around on a cloud for like two weeks afterwards.

As far as best show...that's a tough one. The HHHonors performance isn't technically a "gig"... but it was cool seeing the guys being honored and performing in their hometown on a very special night.

Worst show would be the 1995 Atlanta show where I had horrible seats in the upper deck.

It occured to me to maybe check the whole thread. That's cool, I saw them at Brixton this year...similar in the sense the sound was fairly inaudible...it was just noise. But amazing nevertheless, was the closest I've been at any gig. But yeah, initially thought it was weird you hadn't caught them on the last tour, that was all. Seemed odd for a big and decent fan like yourself haha :)

In honor of today being Friday the 13th, my favorite show was @ "The Edge" Nightclub (r.i.p.) in Orlando, FL back in 1992. A Friday the 13th show with Rollins Band and Cypress Hill. Fucking awesome outdoor show!
Hearing "Car Thief" live @ the Omni in ATL '95 was also really cool.

this show was awesome from the opening acts... that crazy dog show, then Talib Kweli w/ Mos Def. Common, & DJ Quik, then to experience the Beasties for the 1st time (after being a huge fan since 1987 when I was in 7th grade)
plus I bought 3 tickets for this show and suprised my sister & brother in law and took them for their 1st anniversary. It was just an all around awesome experience.
my 2nd show was at the Santa Barbara Bowl. It was not quite as good of a show for me. I would rate the Los Angeles show as one of my top 3 concerts...(of all concerts ive been to) the Santa Barbara show for me was not as good. johnny

ps. 1 of my fav songs is High Planes Drifter, and they did that show @ the Universal Ampatheater. I was blown away!
