way WAY too many people are wearing sandals and especially flip flops. i honestly can't understand how people can walk all over town with their feet all exposed and getting filthy. i can understand taking a run to the corner store and throwing on some flip flops but not going downtown and walking around in all that filth with basically bare feet. at school i've seen many idiots wearing flip flops on dreary rainy days! what the fuck! wear some fucking proper shoes! and no one wants to see your nasty ass feet!

The other day I saw a businessman switch out of his fancy shoes and slip on some flip-flops while he was driving. It was weird to see some dude all dressed up in an Armani suit slide on some flip-flops.

Especially in the middle of a WaMu parking lot.

there's this shithead at work that comes to work with socks and sandals with his chocolate pie(the mathematical symble for pie made to look like chocolate cake) t-shirt tucked into gym shorts that are pulled up past his belly button. he likes pink too. he has those massive pink shoe laces from the eighties and he has one of those single strap backpack in pink too. i fucking hate him. but it's the socks and sandals that puts it over the top.

i normally wear shoes but sometimes i just cant deal with socks and im lazy and its just easier.

really the reason i got my flipflops is cause this summer, well i have to wear proper shoes at my jobs but id work lots and especially being a driver id sweat a lot and my feet would get all wet so whenever i wasnt at work and forced to have shoes on i really didnt want to.

i work them today cause i was a slowpoke getting ready, but its the first time in a few weeks.

then i went in to jimmy johns to get some food and do some homework and the driver twisted his knee and so i ended up working for 3 hours wearing my flip flops and sweatshirt and no hat. it was a pain in the ass. i could have not done it but im too nice of a person.

yes. yes it is. the GM would have had a heart attack. i just worked the register, took calls, and drove though. i didnt make any food, or really stand in the food making area, so maybe i wasnt TOO against health code. i mean the no shoes def was but i think the not hat is ok if im not preparing the food.

people were probably confused when i showed up with their deliveries.

thongs are aight. I wear them a bit in summer. everyone does. long as you take care of your nails and exfoliate/moisturise your feet to counteract the mank factor, they look fine.

having said that i mostly wear sandal type flats...they just look less bogan. gladiator style ones <3

if you trap your feet in sweaty socks and shoes everyday you get smelly fungusy feet.

Sandals are acceptable if the person's feet are clean and nails taken care of, etc. Flip flops are more suited to water-related activities,
and crocs are just plain ugly, so somebody needs to get that time machine up and running.

I was never a big fan. I liked the look of the all terrain off road crocs. I walked around a zoo and Japanese garden over the weekend. We must have walked 3 or 4 miles and they were great for the hike.

I have always liked slides not flip flops. I do not like anything between my toes. I understand the hatred of Crocs. But I have to say I like my Off Roads.....they do not have a large bubble they are more like a shoe.

Oh, I read this on CNN's website. It appears that kids wearing Crocs are being hurt on escalators.

This weekend, there was a nearly-obese woman at the drug store wearing cut off sweatpants and a bikini top. No shoes. So basically,
one big display of fat. I have no idea why someone would think that was the thing to wear when you have a 50-60" waist, sagging breasts,

i dont wear shoes at all if i can help it, but when i don't absolutely have to wear regular shoes, i wont. the only time that weather stops me from wearing sandals outside is precipitation. even if its like 10 degrees outside, i will strongly have the desire to wear sandals if at all possible.


the downside to all of this is my feet tend to be a little disgusting. they are better than they used to be, but still a little wretched. i need to get myself a pedicure, honestly. i need to work out some build up on a few of my toenails first though so that the person cleaning my feet up won't keep over and die in the process.
