We sometimes get pizza on Fridays at work, ordering extra so there are leftovers to nosh on if guys are working late, working on the weekend,
or whatever.

I kind of feel like, you know, if it's Wednesday and there's still some left over, it's probably for the greater good that it gets tossed out.
But I don't, because I've been chided for it (even though it rarely seems to be eaten past Tuesday). But I have seen a slice or two
get microwaved and eaten for breakfast on Thursdays, so, ugh. Okay. None of my business.

Yes, it does get refrigerated.

Is it just me? I mean, it's not like it's moldy or anything, but...

At what point does leftover pizza start seeming a little... elderly to you?

1 day old pizza is ok with me but not more

That seems a little unforgiving. :D

rewarmed pizza tastes like shit but it's still too good for the trashcan

Speaking of trashcans. People actually leave leftover pizza on the top of trashcans for the homeless.

I find this to be a very strange practice.

I'll give homeless people leftovers, but I wouldn't just leave leftovers lying around. That seems kind of gross and... I dunno. "I'll feed you,
but I won't interact with you."

I'll say 2 days tops....after that it just don't taste the same. Day old is the best though

I'm sure that homeless people have enough degrading experiences per day already.

Just a hunch.

I say about three days and that stuff should be gone. Four is do-able but five is really pushing it...

That sounds about right.

Once it's on the third day... well, that's just laziness. Too lazy to make (or order) new food; too lazy (or cheap) to just throw that shit out.

Three days is definitely past the "best by" date: let's put it that way.

I don't think I've ever had leftover pizza sit around for longer than a day. Too much weed gets smoked around here for that to happen.

i don't understand how leftover pizza can even last that long

i've never had any last past the next day. it's a sin to not eat all of the leftover pizza immediately

I'm more afraid of vodka going bad than pizza.
