various high school activites

So what kind of shit did/do you guys do in highschool? as far as clubs, sports, teams etc go.. were you in anything interesting and or that you legitimately enjoyed? did you start anything particularly sweet?

I started a scrabble club.. which was a joke and the only way it got passed was by asking a clueless languange teacher to be the mentor but it went on for two years.
Anyone else an ultimate frisbee enthusiast? probably my favorite club/team
I just joined my school's chapter Amnesty International.. was anyone in this or is anyone a part of this now? i wish i had joined before my senior year because its awesome. we're working on getting Bono for a guest speaker. its happening.

i think my high school had a scrabble club too, which was also a joke. i'm from CT too, you didn't happen to start the one in southington high, did you? or does more than one connecticut high school out there have a scrabble club?

i didn't do much. i think i was part of the spanish club, but i can't remember what that was about. but i paid my dues and i got to put it on my college application and i got into college, didn't i?

i was also in the writing club, but nothing happened there, either. the writing club was supposed to have an annual publication, but it didn't happen that year, we were too busy doing nothing. but i got to put that on my application too

I was in the debate team, and the school orchestra and the choir and lots of other shit that i can't even think of for the first couple of years of high school. Then after a while i sat in the gutter and smoked.
