I once played tag with my sister in our basement and she slammed a door right in front of me. I couldn't stop early enough, so I just ran through that door. It was a door with a wooden frame and glass in the middle. I had my arm cut very deeply and all that disgusting adipose tissue oozed out of my arm. But it could have been worse, because there was a massive splinter still hangin right over my back when I fell through that door. If it had come down I would have been disabled or even dead...

i've stubbed/jammed/banged my little toe on my right foot so many times that the nail has pretty much stopped growing correctly

this kid i went to high school with closed his car door on his fingers while he was outside it and the door was locked trapping him. he was stuck there for quite a few hours waiting for someone to come home and retrieve some keys to free him. he nearly lost all his fingers.

Jesus Christ, that sounds awful. My sister (yes again - she seems to hate me a little) slammed our front door and I had my left thumb trapped in the door and had to ring the bell to make her open the door again. I didn't lose my thumb though - thank god. But the doctor at the hospital showed me that "I-can-take-my-finger-off-and-put-it-back-on-trick". As I was only 4 years old, I believed him and was really freaked out :o

I went to a 2nd cousin's high school graduation years ago and her grandmother, who was extremely old at the time, walked right through a screen door to the patio and fell and twisted her ankle. My sister who was there and I felt bad for laughing, but it was seriously one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed.

when i was about 6 my family was invited to my father's cousin's house for some sort of gathering. it was a nice large house. i was running around in the house with the other kids heading for the backyard where everyone was. i wanted to be the first outside so i bolted for the door that i thought was open and smashed through the glass of the sliding glass door. everyone thought it was horrible other than my immediate family that continued to laugh for hours afterwords. that side of the family is pretty stuffy and thought i was the devil for being so rambunctious. that was the last time we were ever invited.
