I need more serenity in my life

I just need to feel a bit more chilled out and happy. And i really don't want do develop an addiction to something in the process. I need a non chemical enduced serenity.
The past week i have been so completely stressed out for no particular reason that i haven't been able to eat anything. I don't know why or how i got to be this wound up, but it's really bad.
So yeah, how do i get inner peace, how do i chill out? And no suggestions of having sex, because the pursuit of that causes way way more problems. Well for me anyway. it's never easy.

every once in a while things will get me so strung out that i fixate on it and literally can't stop thinking about it. i will pace back and forth while doing other things and realize im pacing and thinking about shit that should be of no consequence to me. or i will just zone out while being around people that i normally enjoy being around. im just so deep in thought off whatever it is that's bothering me that's all that really seems to matter at that point and time no matter how needlessly upsetting it is. when i get like this i will usually get on my bike and just push myself so hard that i have to take the next day off just to rest. 99 times out of a 100 it works.

or sometimes i just go chill out in the sun and just think about what it is that's bothering me and i can sort it out that way without any distractions. no people. no music. no computer.
