ok, this requires some reading, and i'm not going to tell you anything about it because it won't be the same if i do, but stay with it, it's worth it, in a sort of horribly unpleasant kind of way

read this (http://andrewallred.com/stuff/tiffany_breakup.jpg)

and now this (http://andrewallred.com/stuff/tiffany_breakup2.jpg)

skim this (http://andrewallred.com/stuff/tiffany-whore.html)

and finally, read this (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/seminole/orl-bk-twodead09252007,0,5139599,full.story?coll=orl_tab0 1_layout)

make sure you do it in that order, too. i know i'm asking a lot here, i hate it when people just post vague links and don't tell you what they're about, but jesus, just trust me on this one

Bob
09-25-2007, 07:22 PM
why are you putting them together?

putting what together? do you mean, why do i think that the news story is related to this? check the name of the url of the first 3 links, then check the name of the guy in the news story. also, check the name of the girl's email in the 2nd link, and check the name of the girl in the news story. also, it's not immediately obvious, but the guy in the chatlog is the other guy in the news story (he refers to himself as "the schak" in there somewhere and at any rate i know from other sources that it's him)

there's more to this too, so i know that this is all related but i figured these were the more interesting parts

I missed the url. You kids and your wacky computer stuff! Yeah, if that's his page, it's weird. It says "I'm Out" now. And there's a photo of a Tiffany in the tub. :(

I tried to find common names in the bodies of the documents and got confused.

So the TV news report talked about two dead and on injured. Is the one injured a third victim or the shooter? And did you notice that the policewoman was wearing shorts!

Bob
09-25-2007, 07:51 PM
there's an even worse picture than the bathtub one:
http://andrewallred.com/images/target.jpg

worse in the "jesus christ" sense, not the "why did you just show me a picture of a corpse?" sense (it's not a picture of a corpse)

the third guy was somebody who was at the house when the shooting happened. he tried to restrain the shooter by getting behind him, but he shot him in the leg and got free. apparently the bullet just went straight through and he's doing fine now.

I find it hard to believe all this stuff is real, but at the same time I cant see anyone doing this as a sick joke.

Just seems a bit much. Like the picture of the gun? really? you're going to put that on your webspace?

Edit: Seems google cache caught a bunch of the original webpages of the site. One of which mentions him buying a gun (hence the picture). I'm using all my geek powers to try disprove this site but I seem to be failing :\

Edit 2: Also, if you visit the url of her blog there's one post about music and the comments (http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/indie_nile/865.html) are all just "rip"

Edit 3: Yeah, seems legit. I got my geek search on and got the details on the website and it was registered in july and the address its registered to matches that of the guy on the police report (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/media/acrobat/2007-09/32791115.pdf).

When is the US going to wake up and realise that this is going to continue while guns are available? When? I mean do you people not see this? I don't even feel sad when I read stuff like this now, and university shootings are just meh... I havn't even opened the thread about the most recent one because I just find it hard to care. Yeah socially there are some issues but ffs just take away the guns. I don't give a fuck if it somehow infringes upon your self-imposed civil liberties. As a nation show some restraint and maturity. What era are you stuck in over there anyway? As an outsider it all seems a bit primitive. But then I guess as an outsider I'll also never have the full picture. blah ranting

LOL....dumbass guns don't kill people, people kill people

tracky

Wow did you think that one up yourself? OMG. I see it all now.

Guns do kill people. People with guns kill other people faster than with most other weapons available, ie swords, knives, etc. Bombs kill people and they aren't legal. Well actually it wouldn't suprise me if they were over there. But there's certainly no such thing as the local bomb shop, is there? People can do things in the heat of the moment, I wouldn't be suprised to find a lot of these types of gun related violence are sparked by someone finding something out - they get mad and they get a gun and they go and shoot everyone involved. Let's remove the gun - gets big ass sword and comes in swinging, everyone runs, might get a few. Knife, same again. Other weapons? I don't see too many other weapons that someone could go crazy with and do so much damage in such a short time. That's ok, it's your country, you've gotta live in it not me. It just seems really obvious that further restricting the availability of guns will at least limit the damage that one pissed off individual can do...

i suppose i should have expected them to go down and saved pictures or something

anyway the first link is a link to some girl's livejournal where she says something along the lines of "i'm planning to break up with my boyfriend, i'm going to do it after tomorrow night, we're having a birthday party for him and i don't want to spoil the day. i hate him because he treats me like shit and i'm 19 and i haven't had any fun with my life since i started dating him. i'm really scared about this, i hope he doesn't take it too hard"

then the next one is another livejournal post made by her where she talks about how the boyfriend got drunk and violent at the party and starting spilling beer on her and throwing fireworks at her. she flipped out and said she was moving out, and he starting throwing her belongings out of the window and threw a rock at her sister which hit her in the chest pretty hard. it ends with something like "i'm really angry and scared right now, i just hope it gets better"

the next link is a chatlog between her and another guy where she talks about how she had sex with him, and she sort of apologizes for it because they're good friends but she really likes him and she couldn't help herself. it sort of gives the impression that she's just sort of coming of age and beginning to understand herself.

then the last link, which is a news story and should still work, explains how the ex-boyfriend broke into the guy from the chatlog's house and shot and killed both him and the girl.

the picture was of a pair of photographs of the girl's face with bullet-holes through it; the guy was using the pictures for target practice

it's much more emotional if you could have read it though

Shit

it did seem kind of odd that all the guy would put all that stuff on his own website, but i can say for absolute certain that it did happen. i heard of the story from another forum i post at. here's the link (http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2636305), i'm not sure if you'll be able to read the thread though.

but basically, some guy makes a post saying "my coworker was killed last night" (he works with the other guy from the chatlog). it's later revealed by someone on the board who knew the killer personally that the killer was actually a member of the board too. other people who knew the victims/killer eventually pop in too, i think one of them found the killer's site.

it seems suspicious that he would incriminate himself like that, but from reading the guy's posts, he's pretty obviously not a mentally well-off individual. for example, in a thread asking for relationship advice, he posted:

tell her you want to meet with her, then rape her, kill her, and leave her in a hole in the woods, problem solved."

he also had some other rambling post where he talks about how the police have been giving him a hard time ever since they caught him driving a police car or something, i don't know, but the point is it seems like he'd be insane enough to do it.

No really, it feels good to live in a country without gun violence. Don't get me wrong, they're around but not in the same amount as they are in the states and although I've never actually tried I'm pretty sure gun ownership in this country would be a lot harder than in the states. It's not an attack on you personally, just the country you're unfortunate enough to be stuck in.
