so i started college last month, and i don't really like it that much so far.
i'm living in a dorm and i'm not really that social of a person so its kind of strange for me to have a roomate and live in such a small room and stuff.
but also i'm undecided about my major, so i'm not even sure what i'm doing here. (i was kind of pressured into coming here, i wanted to go to community college) and like my parents keep telling me i have to do good, and if i don't i'm going end up working at the grocery store the rest of my life. even though im not a good student.
i just feel like i'm wasting my time here, because i have no confidence in that i can graduate from here
so basically i'm not real happy right now. i dunno why im posting this on here, maybe u guys can make me feel better
Try to find some courses that may apply to your interests. Do something you like. For example, since I love playing video games, I'd like to pursue becoming a game programmer; it will be a long road ahead of me, but I have to try something. Like you, I've been unmotivated and lazy, but I need to do /something/. So, keep your chin up, and don't get too discouraged immediately. It may have been wise to go to community college first, then eventually go to a university. I would imagine it is sort of weird socializing with people in dorms and such, but see if there's anyone that has similar interests as you.

I was supposed to go to college years ago but I din't want to be one of those 'students' so I got a job instead and enjoyed spending all my hard earned money on records and clothes and booze

Mark my words, try try try to make friends with the people in your dorm. I found the most unlikely people became my good friends.

First thing any college bound student needs is a quality gun. I recommend something in the semi-automatic hand gun variety. Don't forget to practice your killing skills with a good modern murder simulator such as Doom or whatever the kids are practising with these days. Go get 'em tiger!

you can't go on and on about it without saying where you are going!
You just have the Freshman blues. A majority of 1st year students deal with many anxiety issues. Missing home, missing friends, difficult to concentrate on school work, etc. Just relax and enjoy the college atmosphere. I was a little overwhelmed when I arrived to college. I had some random sex and made some friends went drinking then finally realized I had to study.
Keep your chin up.
