I haven't noticed much difference between the states in terms of accent. People from WA & QLD seem to say "hey" alot at the end of sentences though.

i've never really noticed a difference in accents on the east coast. country folk sound different i suppose, but it's nothing like england where you go 5k's down the road and they've got a different accent. and yeah, there's too many bogans in queensland. i've seen metho stored in the fridges at supermarkets in townsville. no joke
