So, since my change-of-address form still hasn't taken effect, my mom gets mailed a notice from the bank today that I have an overdraft on my account and that I spent 200$ in one afternoon.
I looked into it (after getting a frantic call from mom) and it turns out this lady gave me the wrong form, and (me not paying attention) instead of depositing the check I had for $197.85 from my old apartment deposit, she did a savings withdrawl. A savings withdrawal, where, however, she didn't give me the money, and must have simply thrown away the check I gave her to deposit.
Now I'm having to call around and find the check or a copy of it, prove that I had it and didn't withdraw that (coincidentally) exact amount. I don't see how her drawer could have balanced if she registered a huge amount like that that I never took out.
It's going to take a while to clear up - and to make matters worse, that $200 that I "withdrew" instead of depositing setup a credit card account in my name and added 200 dollars to my bill for it - plus adding a 9$ overdraft fee.
