it's here!

I wasn't that excited for the season premiere but it's been okay

and SPOILER ALERT

I don't know if I like how they did the Pam and Jim thing, all I want to know is if they (yeah these fictional characters) have boned yet. It's pretty cute though. I donno, kinda anti climactic though!!

Jan living with Michael = (y)

I thought it was funny. I was kinda bummed that Pam and Jim had hooked up already. I don't want them to drag it out, but I also don't want to lose the magic too quicky.

I can't wait to see what happens when the grad student starts to really wield his power over Michael.

Who is the new IT guy?

I haven't seen any of season four, but... I just can't believe the Jan/Michael thing. As a one-off mistake, I totally get it. Makes sense. As an ongoing relationship, it's beyond the realm of believability.

Oh my god that was so gross.

And I really didn't like how they just disposed of Karen like that. I wanted to see the hilarity that would ensue with having her back in the office.

I like the show but I was a bit disappointed last night. I did not really laugh much. The image of Dwight putting the cat in the freezer while it was alive did make me laugh. Schrute always makes me laugh.

beyond the realm of believability.

99.9% of everything Michael Scott does falls under this category. I only watched the first half hour, but tivoed it. I will watch it again in it's entirety tonight. I agree that the Pam and Jim thing was kind of a yawnfest, but from what I saw, I liked it so far. I think people tend to forget about Michael. Everybody always focuses on Jim and Pam or Dwight. I personally find Creed to be the most entertaining with his little nuggets of glory every episode, but this episode (at least the first 30 min.), seemed like it focused more on Michael and I enjoyed it. I feel he gets slighted from time to time.

That's overstating it, but I basically agree. I think that's the weakness of the American version: it jumps from plausibility into sitcom-ity so much. In the British version, even when the behavior was its most outrageous, they grounded it so much that it was believable.

Yeah, plus Gervais could slay an axe.

God, he just nailed that part. Beautiful performance. He even made Brent getting fired heartbreaking, warts and all.

I thought it was a half way decent episode.

I wasn't expecting anything mind blowing and I wasn't really disappointed.

i was a little "eh" because there weren't many lolz moments, but there were definitely a few times i guffawed. i couldn't help but squeal like a girl when pam and jim were holding hands or when he said, "yeah, it's going great." omg omg. and yeah, the "all my frozen french fries were clawed to pieces" part was beautiful (y)

he also managed to make it funny in a tasteful way. when they first tell him that they're letting him go, you can see that he's heartbroken, and it's a really touching moment...

...and then he stands up. i think the first time i saw that scene i literally fell off the couch from laughing

I just barely watched the most recent episode and I have to say I think that was one of their best ever. So many little things that were amazing, and the Jim/Pam stuff was cute but not over done.

The cold opening with the DVD player thing was amazing. The show is still way over done but eh I still laughed a lot.

Maybe this season won't suck after all.

Pretty good episode (y)

The finale was so good last night. Definitely sets up a ton of great stuff for next season.

I respectfully disagree there Bob. I liked it very much.

You can blame some of it on the writers strike, it was kind of broken up in a way it shouldn't have been.

I honestly think that there was so many great things to happen in the finale that the next season is easily going to have some of the best stuff to set everything up so far. Ryan's problems, Michael and his women and what Jim and Pam have to go through.

:D at Dwight and Angela together at the end.

What bothered me more than anything is that there is no way in hell they had the money nor the time to set up a ferris wheel in the goddamn parking lot without anybody noticing.

i think my favorite part outside of retarded kevin was phyllis saying "ok" to the lady asking if she meant anti-depressants instead of ant-gravity machine. i don't know why but that cracked me up.

I thought the last few episodes that aired after the writers strike were gold.

And I loved the finale, my favorite moment was when Andy asked Angela to marry him and she said "ok". "I said OK!"
