i get kinda piss when people say they can't stand a band in its entirety just because of the vocalist. but i can uderstand now because of muse.

disgusting band. i got accused of being a muse fan by a stranger once. it was at a festival and he had just finished watching goldie lookin chain. it made me smile, because i was just about to see broken social scene. it was at that moment that decided that it is good to be a music snob, and that i would never go to reading festival ever again. :)

I've got the first 2 muse albums and seen them live 2 or 3 times.
The last albums are too much for me to handle, they're too over the top, and Matt's voice is just too dramatic. But when I saw them at Pinkpop this year I was quite impressed, but maybe that was also slightly because of the gabillion pound stage lights and 60.000 people jumping around me.
Actually, come to think of it, I was most impressed during the instrumental parts...

I like Absolution the best. I actually really don't like the last one that came out. I like some stuff from Showbiz (Muscle Museum). Not a huge fan of Origin of Symmetry.

you know, the more i think about it, the more i realize it mostly is the instrumentals that i like, and not the singing.

it starts off cool, then the guy starts whining over it and it gets a little lame, then he stops singing and it gets good again...hmm...

then there's the first track off the first album, newborn i think; it doesn't get cool until the guy shuts up and the instruments kick in...hmm indeed!
