So, I have one week left at my current job and starting my career on October 8th as a Licensing Specialist for an industry leading wireless tower company. I'm pretty fucking pumped. I already made decent money and let's just say that I'll be making more money in one week than I would for 2 weeks worth at my current job. Plus, they have foosball and ping pong tables in the cafeteria, free 30 minute massages monthly, AND alcoholic company picnics which include bocce ball, volleyball, and basketball tournaments. The best part is that they offer flex hours, so I can go in whenever I want each day, just as long as I have 40 hours a week. That's a pretty titty.(y)

i spent 5 hours today getting paid to listen to my music while watching guys crush large rocks into small ones using this big machine.

i got called last night telling me i had to go and do this today, and i was essentially the "supervisor" for this job, having never actually been there or knowing what the specs are.

and digi, you can appreciate that the site i was on is where the new hockey arena will be

Sounds like working for AOL...minus the massages, but plus weekly onsite happy hours, a HUUUUUUGE christmas party at the air and space museum. Pinball machines, wii, and pool tables in the break rooms.

I'm sure your supervisor is sick of you doing nothing at your job too.

Nice, man. I cannot wait to see that building. It looks like it's straight out of the Jetsons.

Is that where you work?

Yeah, it's not too shabby for a stoner that squeaked through college with a philosophy degree. LOL.

yeah but unlike the majority of kids with philosophy degrees you probably thought "huh, my career focus does not necessary have to be within the field I studied" and therefore $$$$$$$$

what do you/have you been doing jobwise anyway?
